What We Do

Cook Inlet CHARR facilitates training programs, membership services, legislative and government relations, informational services, and industry promotion through Alaska CHARR on behalf of hospitality sector industry members, employees and patrons statewide.

Alaska CHARR partnering with Cook Inlet CHARR and all regional CHARR affiliates to ensure the hospitality industry is protected and respected and policymakers at the local, state and federal levels are aware of issues pertaining to the industry.

Training Programs

Alaska CHARR’s Training Department offers the most comprehensive alcohol server and food safety training programs in Alaska. We have a network of  instructors across the state to provide the best coverage and training possible.

Membership Services

Cook Inlet CHARR works integrally with Alaska CHARR and statewide affiliate staff members and advocates to promote & protect the industry at the local, state, and national levels.  We are always here to protect you, even when you don’t realize you need it!

Labor By the Numbers

Jobs Forecast for 2019 Department of Labor and Workforce Development. 

High expectations for tourism will spur growth in the transportation on and warehousing, mainly in the waterbased scenic and sightseeing transportation on the category (500 jobs). A strong visitor season will also boost leisure and hospitality, which is expected to add about 500 jobs. Many of those will be tied to the three new hotels that will open in Anchorage this year.
